Anti-Spam Policy

GIE Media certifies that we use our services only to send messages (including, without limitation, text messages and commercial emails) to customers and prospects. Customers are personal direct request or company direct request recipients of our magazines. Our clients are forbidden to transmit unsolicited text messages or commercial email (spam) via our system.

As a publisher, GIE Media uses circulation software custom written for print and electronic communication with its readers. If a reader opts out of e-mail communication, that opt-out is processed immediately in real-time.

Why did you receive an email or text message from our system?

You should only receive commercial emails sent through our system that you have agreed to receive from a GIE Media, Inc. magazine. Lists are maintained for weekly or monthly e-newsletter recipients as well as for digital magazine recipients notifying you that your magazine is available and including a link to the new digital edition. All e-mail communication from GIE Media, Inc. contains a visible link to unsubscribe from our list.

Reporting unwanted messages as spam

If you don't recognize the magazine name from which you received an e-mail, you can report it to us as spam by sending it (or, in the case of a non-email message, by sending an explanation) to abuse@gie.net. We receive, investigate, catalog, and take appropriate action based on complaints we receive.

How do I get off an email or text message list?

Each email sent by GIE Media, Inc. is required to contain a link that allows subscribers to easily unsubscribe in an automated way from receiving future emails from the sender. You may also change your expressed interests at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe or change your interests, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of any email. If that does not work, please let us know by sending an email to abuse@gie.net.
